Madame Tussauds Wax Museum Delhi was opened on 1st December 2017. First Madame Tussauds Museum was established by  Marie at Baker Street London in 1835. Chamber of Horrors was the main attraction of the Museum. In 1884 Museum was shifted to its current site Marylebone Road. The museum contained almost 400 sculpture at that time. In 1925 Museum was damaged by fire. It was restored in 1928 with an extension of Cinema and restaurant. It was again destroyed by German World War II. Now Madame Tussauds has become one of the most popular attractions in London. Today in Madame Tussauds you will find sculptures of historical and royal figures, Film stars, Sports stars, and many more popular personalities.

In 1972 second Museum was opened in Amsterdam and then Las Vegas, New York, Hong Kong, Shanghai, and many more locations total 21 in the world. Now Madame Tussauds has opened its 22nd Madame Tussauds Wax Museum  Delhi India on 1st December 2017. See the News

Former Prime Minister Mrs. Indira Gandhi was the first Indian to have the first statue in Madame Tussauds. Amitabh Bachchan was the first Indian Bollywood star in Madame Tussauds London in 2000 since than Madame Tussauds has been taken big attention from India. Now so many celebrities Shahrukh Khan, Salman Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Hrithik Roshan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Madhuri Dixit Nene, Katrina Kaif and Sachin Tendulkar have their statues in Madame Tussauds. The latest movie of Shahrukh Khan ‘Fan’ was the first Indian movie to shoot inside Madame Tussauds.

    1. Hi Jessica, Madame Tussauds is quite popular in Indian people. i work as a travel consultant and so many people ask me to add Madame Tussauds Museum to itinerary.
