Amber Fort :
Amber or Amer fort is one of the major tourist attraction and UNESCO world heritage site in Jaipur. Located almost 07 km from the city center. Build on a small hill in town Amer. This town was originally built by Meenas. Later it was ruled by King Man Singh I. The Fort was build during December 1550 to July 1614. It is one of the finest fort in Rajasthan. Fort was resident of Rajput Kings. Fort was build by Red sand stone and Marble. It is highly decorated by paintings and ornaments. Inside the fort you will find Diwan-e-Aam (Hall of Public), Diwan-e Khas (Hall of private audience), Sukh Niwas (Specially designed Cool Palace), Sheesh Mahal (Mirror Palace). City Palace :
This is the Place where Jaipur’s royal family still resides. A big part of the Palace was converted in to the museum and opened for public. Jantar Mantar :
Jantar Mantar is Second UNESCO World heritage site in Jaipur. A astronomical site which is still working very well. Jantar Mantar was built by the Rajput King named Sawai Jai Singh and is a collection of the architectural astronomical instruments. It is situated next to the city palace and Hawa Mahal. Jantar depends on sun to work properly so keep in mind when you plan to visit try to be there before 03 pm.
Hawa Mahal :
Hawa Mahal also known as wind Palace. It is like a signature monument of Jaipur. Most of the time when there is a discussion about Jaipur in magazines and social media it appears with a image of Hawa Mahal. Hawa Mahal was build by king Swai Pratap Singha in 1799 by the help of red sand and pink sand stone. It was a high raised wall with so many small windows for ladies of royal family to see outside on the road for festivals and celebration but nobody could see them back.
