Hawa Mahal :
Hawa Mahal was also known as the Wind Palace. It is like a signature monument of Jaipur. Hawa Mahal was built by king Swai Pratap Singha in 1799 with the help of red sand and pink sandstone. Sadly, I didn’t have time to go to Jaipur while I was in India. The City Palace looks like a wedding cake – so pretty! I didn’t know those were astronomical instruments at Jantar Mantar – very interesting.

Jaipur has lots of unique architecture to see! What an amazing building the Hawa Mahal is with all the windows. A trip to the City Palace would be amazing and I see why you say plan for 3-4 days in the area.
I didn’t get the chance to visit Jaipur when I was in India but I must say, the architeture there looks quite something, judging by your photos! That first photo is incredible! Amber Fort would be so fascinating to see.
